Hi all, I recently bought a pre facelift car with various mods done, including post facelift headlights fitted. Unfortunately they're not in good shape and beyond refurb.
I'd like to go back to the pre facelift headlights, will that be something that any competent garage could do? I'm aware that there will have been some wiring mods done to fit the current ones, but is it easy enough to go back to original spec?
Hello
@2ZZ_mofo Welcome to the Forum.
Your change from FL to PFL headlights on a PFL car is an easier fix than PFL to FL
You will have some redundant wiring. Exactly what will be redundant is best explained by AN Other.
For your PFL lights I believe you will find a good deal at :

Let us know how you get on and don't be a one post wonder.
(One post, get the answer you need and then we wonder where you've gone)
Many thanks Joesson, appreciate the reply and link. I'm sure I'll be a regular poster as my car is a work in progress, so I'll likely have lots more questions!
For a lot less cost you might consider a used pair, good enough to be reconditioned.
Try Andy at J-Spec and see what he's got.
I polished up a used pair for my PFL car and they look pretty good.
Thanks Carolyn, I already ordered brand new ones but know of J-Spec and will be going to them for various missing plastics etc
So my local garage has had the car over 2 weeks now, lights are fitted but are 'very dim'. Scratching their heads.. I've sent them a pre-facelift wiring diagram. The joys.
