Decided to get on with cutting the Frunk plastic this morning. After a nervous start it seemed to go ok.

Frunk lid cut as well. See pic to follow. I have 3 different types of "tie" on the way from Amazon to hold the lid nearest the windowscreen. Want to see which will work best.

Got a couple of top down journeys in today.

First a visit to Wollies, love this place, (https://www.woolies-trim.co.uk) to buy some beading to go around the freshly cut Frunk (Pic attached)

Then a trip to the Cinema to see "Judy" Rene Zellweger is awesome.

Latest acquisition....

Always used one of these in my "7" and TR3 in the winter. Sold the last one for peanuts.

Got this off of fleabay, well worn in giving that lovely used leather look.

Bring on the cold winter drives.

My old one was black but I couldn't find one on fleabay and did not want to spend on a brand new one.

Regards the heat shield. Did the bolts come out ok?
I would love to freshen mine up, but convinced they would shear trying to remove.

I replaced the bolts not long before Greg bought the car so hopefully they did.
Hope the paint is heat resistant as that heat shield gets very hot!

It will need to be extremely heat resistant somewhere on one of my old threads there will be the egt read out from my old turbo car.
