Just had a qoute for my 2 with Elephant for £549.Im 22 with 3 yrs NCB and no points.

I was with Adrian Flux,but I have lost faith in them,they have a few tricks.

Somebody (Stu?) was talking to an insurance company / broker some months ago about Club Discount etc etc.

Did anything come of that?

after running through several companies(5) i got cocked about a lot and none of them ever gave me anything that you couldn't get elsewhere, i may revisit this next year but at the mo i've got way too much on my hands, sorry

I've just moved away from Adrian Flux as well. No great problems, but I couldn't get my restricted mileage removed from documents - even though I had paid for unlimited and got them to confirm in writing. Always "talked" to somebody different, changes cost a fee, emails very amateurish. Just didn't feel comfortable.

Approached A-Plan (their sports / mod specialist Rob is in their Newbury Office 01635 521818).  Got a 10% saving (including adding something I haven't yet got - no its not a turbo!), changes no charge and felt I was wanted. Much happier feeling all together. He mentioned he just insured a 350BHP Mk2 !

If you have a bog standard car he may not be the man for you, but anybody with mods should give him a try. No advertised discount for MR2ROC, but certainally mention it and he may have something up his sleeve, especially to beat a previous quote   s:wink: :wink: s:wink:
