recent events
photos include 30 MR2s descending on London for a run last Sunday, and drag strip action at Santa Pod, where a mark one turbo was achieving mid 12s quarter mile times, and a modified mark 2 turbo was enjoying early 12s, im sure there will be some you will recognise!

Some great photos there Steve, and it was good to meet you yesterday (albeit only briefly). It's amazing just how many cars there were there, and also how many photos I managed to get the Plastic Vauxhall into as well! s:D

Just a quick update, MR2 Only has'nt disappeared, it seems we are victims of our own success, and are constantly exceeding our bandwidth to the point where we have outgrown our web hosting package, so its on the move again, and should resume soon.

Issue two is now well underway with more amazing MR2 feature cars, mk1, mk2 and roadsters, report and photo coverage of Mr2 London run event, Santa Pod weekend, Japanese mountain meet where our man in Japan saw two authentic TRD2000GTs and a quite special wide body MR-S, lots more technical stuff, and hopefully another rolling road report from Wigan.

We have been working on the production of issue two of MR2 Only Magazine over the last few days, got to say theres some amazing stuff shoehorned in there, feature cars from UK, US and Europe, and the recent events, as well as some great technical stuff.

We are taking subscriptions now, so if you have already had issue one, please make it clear when ordering!

Issue two is being mailed out 1st week of December.

We are 90% certain that we will have our exclusive Border Racing interview in issue two from Japan.

Well underway with issue two now, overwhelmed with the calender votes, not going to announce whos in and not, that way it will be a nice surprise when the magazines hit the door mat first week of December.

When ordering issue two, or a subscription please indicate that you have received issue one, if you have already had issue one.

Whats in issue two of MR2 Only Mag?
Heres a selection of whats in issue two of MR2 Only Magazine, the ONLY DEDICATED MR2 Magazine available first week of December... it's bigger than issue one, packed into 84 colour pages!

From Europe we have Cumhur of Germanys stunning individual mk2 with individual hand crafted body styling.

From the U.S we have the MR2Boards very own Phoenix's - US red mark 2, and Russ's classic two tone Mark one, as well as Darren Kennedys Driving the Dragon report. We also have Phoenix's Japanese mountain meet with some amazing photos! some rare authentic TRD2000GTs and a widebody MR-S as well as some great Jap styling we've not seen before. As well as another interview that we are keeping under our hats for now that will be confirmed.

From the UK we have our cover car 'The Tango', a bright orange fast and furious street racing mark one, on the Roadster side of things we have Philsters turbo conversion pushing out an awesome 248bhp.

Donnington MR2 Turbo racing, Antstarrs October legendary London run, where 30 MR2s took to the streets of the UK's captal, London, Santa Pod club drag shoot out, and the Midlands meet.

And last but most importantly our 12 page pull out calender, that you guys are currently voting for your favourite 12 photos!!

Nice to meet some of you roadster guys at Hyper Sports MR2 rolling road day at Wigan today, must say we are impressed with the TTE conversion, and the two standard roadsters that produced a little more than stock power on the rollers, full report will be in issue two.

Looking forward to Silverstone on the 25th and fingers crossed might get to be a passenger in the TTET!!

Just had confirmation that our man in Japan has completed our interview at Border Racing in Japan this afternoon for a 4 page feature in issue two, im eagerly waiting at the PC for the first of his photos!

Bit more for the roadster reader in issue two, and lots more of the same planned for the new year!

Please to say there is a bit more roadster reading in issue two than the first one, will be even more in issue three as we will be featuring the Silverstone Performance Dyno Extravaganza!

Updated w www.mr2only.com w with a sneak preview of the front cover of issue two, and added a few news pieces, the Border exclusive interview is amazing, even have details of a new product available next year thats not been seen yet!

Plus there is the 12 centre page calender pull out!

You should have put the best 3 of each marque in the calender and then the top 3 overall that way it would be more variety than the usual tirade of MK2's

Yes the calender is awesome, we were disappointed no roadsters made it in, but we did put it to the public to vote, next year we will address the balance, and have highest vote of each of the three marques.
