An afternoon with Poorboys and two cars...

I was going to put this in appearance, but since there's a non-2 in here as well, this seemed more appropriate somehow  s:) :) s:)

So, here's the results of an afternoon spent with:

Poorboys Shampoo
Poorboys Polish (just plain polish, not SSR)
Poorboys EX-P Sealant
Nattys Blue Paste pure Carnuba Wax

Applied with:

Lambswool wash mitt
Microfibre cloths (3)
Foam applicator pads (2)
Halfords Random Orbital polisher with a lambswool boot

And this came up very nicely considering it's age, and the fact that it's been through umpteen carwashes and sat on the upper deck (outside) of a North Sea ferry:

Bloody hell mate, you have been busy! Actually, that's the first time I think I've ever seen your car clean...  s;) ;) s;)

Nice job, how long did it take? Is that Halfrauds polisher any good?

Well that all took from.. about 9am right through till about 4pm - still that's not too bad for washing, polishing, sealing and waxing two cars - oh and a bit of claybaring in there too  s:) :) s:)

Notice the neat go-faster stripe on the left side of my head there?

It's OK - it does the job of putting polish on, but it's not a patch on a Porter Cable, it just can't put enough energy in to take any kind of scratches out unfortunately.

2x Porter Cable's will be the next thing I get I think - one for me, one for the folks  s;) ;) s;)
