2 Insurance

Hey there, only joined so not sure if I'm posting in the right place.  My insurance is up for renewal next week and haven't sorted anything out yet.  Got enough of a shock when I added my new car to the policy, they charged admin fee's and i'd only got 2 weeks left, grrrr. They didn't quote me happy on the next year either.....  I've been looking at  m http://www.moneysupermarket.com/motor/ m  to see if i can get a good quote, not used it before.  A bit baffling with all the quotes that come back and not sure which insurer will be best to go with.  Has anyone used them before and did they get a good deal? any recommendations on insurance companies, bearing in mind the fact that I want to modify it, including the engine  s:) s:)
