Quote from: "John Woodward"I stayed at home cos I couldn't get out of my village.

I'm not even going to attempt to drive now. The road outside my house is permanently in the shade and with the cars going over the snow it has turned it to ice. I've just chipped some away and it is at least 15mm thick.

You can make out a few tyre tracks from where drivers have tried to turn but just slid and clouted the kerbs. Sod doing that to my alloys.

Quote from: "Slacey"I seem to remeber that it's you who moans about not getting to the shops, not the ladies  s:wink:  s:wink:

That's before they built shops within walking distance.

Are you going to let Ann-Marie take your 2 up the shops in the ice   s:twisted:  s:twisted:

And just to prove it:

The arrow points to my house (cos why would I point it at someone elses?). The grey road outside my house (in fact all the roads you can see) is actually ice. Can anyone blame me for not taking my car out?

Below is a picture of the whole village:

Yes!  s:twisted:  s:twisted:

Get some winter tyres and have fun, that's why you bought the car in the first place  s:twisted:  s:twisted:

Does a bit - nice view though! Better than my front window, at any rate  s:) :) s:)

Had a bit of snow here, but it was just cold & wet by lunchtime when I came to work  s:( :( s:(  And I'd missed out on the entire office having Fish & Chips  s:cry:  s:cry:  Ah well.

Wasn't expecting to see snow this morning when I got up though!
