2 types of main cat?

Is ther two types of main cat?  There is one on flebay but looks different to mine. Mine has the two flexy joints

Hard to see from that pic but standard cat looks like this.

Its a standard cat (ebay). Upside down and at a funny angle which hides the two flexy joints at the back, but I'm sure its standard.

there are 2 types as i remember

1, ones that work nicely
2, ones that dont work and are full of oily precat stuff

not forgettiong J-spec (withou teh 3rd 02 bung) and UK/Euro spec (with teh 3rd 02 bung)

Looks like the picture is just taken at a funny angle.
Looks like a Euro on as the 3rd O2 sensor is visible.

Round exhaust tip ... does that mean it's pre 2003?
Cute & fluffy animals were definitely hurt during the production of this post, there're plenty more where they came from
