Hi guys.....

I know my rear tyres are 215/45/16 but I can't find winter tyres of that exact size. Could I put say 215/55/16 on...?

Cheers..Dan

Be better trying to get hold of 215/40x16.. I very much doubt 55 series will fit.

As for getting winter tyres in any size.. you will be extremely lucky now, all our suppliers have sold out of just about every size, most manufactures are now looking at January before new stocks are ready for dispatch to wholesalers... your best bet will be online retailers or going to Scandinavia  s;) ;) s;)

Kwik Fit have some sizes of Continental winter tyres available at pretty good prices, but that depends on buying four at once and I'm not sure of the sizes they have. Got a full set for my yeti today and have to say they are a revelation.
