Wanting to add some rear speakers

Am I right in thinking that the stereo in the facelift 2 with the big buttons is capable of running some rear speakers / as it has a a fade front / rear function on it ? If so may I ask you guys 2 Q's
1 Reccomended good quality low / mid range speaker that I would like to mount in each storage bin lid
2 Are there just 2 spare sockets (phono perhaps) on the rear of the HU
I'm not sure anyone much looks on the "electrical" part of this forum so I thought I would try for a response here if thats ok
2004 Facelift in Crystal Silver (sub 30k)  with genuine bodykit,Precats out,Red Leather,Remus Dual Exhaust,Carbon Thresholds,vvti Badging on wings,TTE chrome fuel flap surround,Bridgestone Potenza REO40's ,Aerial override mode,RED Mohair roof, Bonnet and engine cover gas struts and a few other small internal tweaks :-)
And now... Mikes (my own) anti dash creak mod !
