Had a decent day today and managed to get a few jobs done.

Facelift side vents in 1D0 Silver finished, they used to be 8M6 Blue.



Headlights split, prepped, primed and now only need another coat of 1D0 and then laquer.

spot on love it!! had to do my vents too!! wanting to my lights is another matter, did you find it hard?

Not hard but you need two people to split the lights, one to pull apart and the other to cut the sealant away with a pair of scissors.

so you never heated them up ? and use something like this to re seal them?

Heated them up in an ELECTRIC oven at 120 deg for ten mins (don't use a gas oven or it will melt) putting them together is the reverse, there's a how to on here.

yeah i know was just seeing if you new of another method as you didnt mention the heating up bit, ...i.e. thought you might know of an easier way ...right shall get on that in the next few weeks  s:) :) s:)  cheers.

A bit more done, front calipers refurbed, getting there slowly but surely.
