I just visited my dealer today to find out what is happening about the waranty claim for my front bumper that has developed cracks in the paintwork on the bottom of the uprights around the air scoop.  While I was there I mentioned that I spotted a similar crack on the back bumper, just below the grille.  Their paintwork specialist came and had a look and said that these cracks are very common because they are at the flex point of the bumper.  I am asking to have it all fixed under waranty - it should be covered.

So take a look, if your car is comuing up to 3 years old as this is apparently a common problem.

I am also paying £75 extra to have the bonnet blown over to remove all those stone chips.

Not bad at all, could be a once-a-year jobby that, reckon I'll ask my dealer.

Let us know what he says Stevo, cos you are right. Once a year, I could live with £75!

Maybe you need to re-read the original post - it's an EXTRA £75 to do the whole bonnet. The reason for the low price is they will allready be setup for spraying that particular colour, and removing the bonnet is a 2 minute job. If you wanted JUST the bonnet I would expect to see more like £150 - £200 (just an educated guess as I haven't had mine re-sprayed)

Mine cost 450 for the replacement bonnet and a respray.  I think the bonnet cost circa 170quid.
