Will a "W" reg hardtop fit a "02" reg?

Just been to look at a hardtop for sale locally, the sellers MR2 has black brackets positioned behind the drviver & passenger seats that the hardtops clamp onto, our MR2 doesn't have these brackets or do they come off the sellers car to accompany the hardtop?

 Really confused now........................   s:?: :?: s:?:

Every hardtop will fit every car.
remove that kit and put it on your car

You also need the two rear chrome brackets off the sellers car.
You can trim your own plastics for the side strikers, or simply swap plastics with the seller.
Also get the demister cable.
