Hi all,

Does anyone know it the front lower bracing from a 2004 on would fit on a 2003 car, and if so does it provide much improvement?

Thanks
Simon

Plenty of front lower braces available on a well known auction site I fitted front, middle and rear lower braces to mine and it made a big gain in handling  s:) :) s:)

There is an improvement but not much. Best brace is the midship brace and the front upper brace for your car anything else will not make much if at all noticable difference to what you got.

Sorry yes the oem brace.

I'm just finishing off a midship and front strut brace, and saw the 2004+ bracing crop up, but your saying it will fit but won't make much difference?

Basically yes. Its the same as changing the rear strut brace for something like the c-one its an improvement but only very slightly and not normally worth the cost. But saying that if the 2004 brace like £10 then you might as well as its not going to cost the world.

Ok thanks, its a bit more than £10 so I wont bother, I'll keep an eye out for a toms brace or similar.

Having had a good look at the difference between the two, i believe the 2004 setup only adds to the crash protection. A triangulated brace like the Corky item does make a difference on a 2003 car.

Ex 2GR-FE roadster. Sold it. Idiot.  Now Jaguar XE-S 380. Officially over by the bins.
