Regards the Screaming eagle.
All images I have seen since being a member here has the eagle looking to the right. Yet Happened upon a Series 1 Mr2 and the front emblem has the eagle looking left as you stand in front of it. Just wondering if somehow things got flipped in PShop and became the default.
All a bit random I know, but curious.

No a difficult thing to fix in the scheme of things Jason. Interesting observation though.

Just for ref I am referring to this design

Rather than the common

looking at the two together, wondering if some design type person had a Yen dropping moment and thought Roadster 'R' font = eagle head.
Just looking the other way.
Straw clutching now.

I think your spot on with the R jason.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Supposedly, the crown is "M", the head is the "R" and somehwere there is a "2" but I've never found it, even with my eyes shut looking upside down...
Even this guy can't work it out...

Piggybacking on this. I'm desperately in need of a high res image of the MR2 ROADSTER text on the seat backs.

Anybody???

Both. Sorted via a friend of mine in the USA. it's not perfect but it's suitable for seat embroidery!

It's actually the Nationalyze-ALP font (copy here - https://comtech-it.com/docs/Nationalyze-ALP.ttf)

Well that makes things easier....

I knew I had that font somewhere   s:lol:  s:lol:
I also have that piggin' logo in embroidery format somewhere, but can't find it  s:( :( s:(

Your guy will explain too you how difficult vector-embroidery pattern can be, due to the way that the embroidery software tries to work out which is the best way to "fill".
On the vector thread I started, I put an embroidery pattern based on a picture of my car.
It had so many colours and was so complicated, it's very heavy on the shirt and has too many stitches - if you catch me with my blue t-shirt, I'll show you what I mean.

Rear badge logo doesn't quite match the Nationalyze-ALP font (on top)

The "Screaming Chicken" was on the Mk1. (1985 - 1989)
The "Eagle" was on the later models.

The font is actually a Toyota specific licensed font not available to the general public I'm afraid.

Will do when I pick it up tomorrow.
The color scheme and changes... somewhat..

 s:) :) s:)

I've gone for something a bit more bold. Well. A lot more bold than stock, but only about 50% more bold than the original plans for my retrim.
Not quite on the levels of Helen's interior  s:) :) s:)
