Why buy a MR2?

Hi all, new to here as you can tell

After having all sorts of cars over the years i am thinking of the MR2.....

So just asking noob questions about it really...

1. Any common problems
2. Good performance mods
3.Price to pay for mk1 or mk2
4. What BHP is achievable without being unreliable?

Any advise/info would be great  cheers

Mind the MK3 is the best so you are actually in the right place  s;-) ;-) s;-)

Larry, why do you want a Mk 1 or Mk 2 and not a Mk3? From what I can gather, a number of us here have or have had the different marks - I'm sure you will get a reasonably balanced reply.
