Insurance recommendations?

Has anyone any views on the best way to insure an MR2, or have any recommendations for companies? Are there any specialist insurers folks use or is it through the usual mainstream suspects?

When I was considering an MGTF there were a couple of companies that effectively offered a classic car type insurance with agreed values and limited annual mileage. NCD wasn't an issue, as the policy didn't earn you any additional bonus for a claim free year, and they came up very reasonable indeed (about £200 per year fully comp). The only stipulation was that you had to belong to either the MGOC or MGCC. Are there any deals like this around?

I'm not a boy racer (nearer 50 than 40!), with a clean license and 10 yrs claim free. At present we have a multi car policy with Admiral for our family cars on which our NCD is applied, and live in rural N Devon.

There is another thread going through the same issues.
But as a foot note, similar setup/age to you - currently paying £222 for the 2 with Admiral as part of 4 car policy.
