Got this book on loan from a friend Toyota garage mechanic:

MR2 New Car Features, Dec., 1999

"For more effective sales and service activities"

This 98 pages illustrated book costs about £10 and is a real gem: it covers almost everything from development objectives, design, safety mechanisms, chassis, engine, Torsen LSD, electrical diagrams, etc.

It's so good, I did not bother photocopying it. Instead I ordered a copy from Toyota!

The reference number is: Pub. No. NCF180E

Have fun reading it!

John

P.S. Other books that may also be of interest (if you want to do some DIY on your Mr.2):

RM762E : MR2 Chassis and Body Repair Manual
RM763E : 1ZZ-FE Engine Repair Manual
EWD410F : MR2 Electrical Wiring Diagram

Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.
