Well I now have lots of boost which is always handy in rush hour in the rain   s:lol: :lol: s:lol:  

Not keen on the sound at idle, sounds a bit like a Subaru unfortunately, however it isn't too intrusive at motorway speeds. Pics tomorrow as its pitch black now.

Don't expect too much, I'm already thinking I should have gone a touch bigger on the tailpipes.

Exhaust is spot on Lee. I think I can understand why you think it should be a little bigger. It fits in nicely with the fins of the finisher on the bumper.

On the roof, is the back window smaller than usual?

Not had chance to play with controller yet however on low setting it used to make 0.8 bar and is now making just over 1 bar. Didn't try high setting as need to mess with the duty as well probably hit boost cut.

Low setting is 64% duty to hit 1.02, used to be set at 90% duty to hit that figure.

More I look at it the more I like it, quite subtle.

Window is roughly same size.

So this has been taking my attention over the last few months, new wheels and hardback seats colour coded.







With a mates new car.



Realised I'm likely to miss another season of drag racing with the MR2 so got my finger out last night to replace the badly split CV boot. (MOT due next month as well   s:shock: :shock: s:shock:  ).

What a messy, soul destroying job. Looked great with my black hands in my team meeting today.

how well do the t1r tyres hold up with this setup. any spinning?
190whp/143wtq & 12.7s 1/4 mile- naturally aspirated on r888s.

I only tend to use the car in the dry but haven't experienced any wheelspin then, drove it a few times in the rain but was being more careful then, however could feel it spinning a bit on half throttle in 2nd.

I like these tyres but I know a lot don't.

I think t1r are fine too.
Nothing wrong with their grip wet or dry soft sidewalls not good for track but make for a decent ride even on coilovers.
Is the porsche now a keeper or will it be going Lee?

Not sure, change my mind about it most days and would only end up buying something else if I sold it.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. For me though, sadly, nothing short of the r888 seems to cut it. But you are running more power than me so it does give me some confidence in the t1r. Perhaps I'll try them one day  s:) :) s:)
