All looking good  :-) :-) :-) . Did the Rogue mounts come with the side mounts or just the strips for side mounts to mount to?

Yes they come with the side mounts too Steve. £89 each I seem to remember. Nicely made and not too heavy.

I'll have a look tomorrow, just going to check on here if there are any special tricks on these cars.

Hi mate, yes - he says he can do something. He has Vinnys old 1zz sump, I just need to send him a 2zz sump (I don't have one yet!) to find out if there are any differences. Seems willing to help and is sure he can baffle it for far less than the current products available.

Good to go! Handbrake adjusted and passed MOT!

Not driven it for further than 100yds since December so was good to take the scenic route home. Car felt good, suspension tight and nice grip from the tyres. Looking forward to pushing it a bit soon!

Also finished the girlfriends dressing room (don't you just love long weekends) so I'll be able to do the following this week after work without grief!  s:D :D s:D

To do ;

- Oil and filter
- Spark plugs
- Decat refit
- Wheel alignment
- Refit small steering wheel
- Book Castle Combe  s:D :D s:D

I recall reading a thread which said the 1zz sump could be modified to fit a 2zz. I'll try and find it and post the link. Could make sourcing the sumps a bit easier.

Good going. No worries for another year.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Bad news...no!

I found out (say found out, Its been the same date for the last 59 years) its my mums 60th on Monday so expected to go out with them for a meal in the evening, So CC is out of the question on Monday (they are 2.5hr drive away from me!).

Also realised its still SORN, so need to tax it and no point doing that now - I'll pay for the full month but only get the last couple of days! Hadn't considered this.

Finally, since the MOT I haven't touched it, still need to do the oil service & plugs, and get the alignment done. Busy with work and DIY at home.

HOWEVER.....Good news is that I have booked and paid up for Brands Hatch evening Thursday 22nd May with Opentrack - only £85, bargain.

No real work carried out on the car recently, but been using now and again to bed in brakes.

Must say the car seems to have plenty of grip, the under steer seems far better than it used to (ie non existant).

Booked two track days, May 22nd @ Brandshatch and July 19th (Toyota day) at Blyton via the threads on here.

Trying to find a way to getting good audio from my in car camera, without buying a go-pro!

I'll have a look for those bolts tomorrow dude.. I took the seats out a while ago tho

I'm thinking of trying one of these as I don't really want the expense of a go pro either
