Noticed the Magtech roadster is running ducktail and wing.  I think it looks good.  Its also got the track about as wide as I plan to run it.  Good reference car.

I'd like to know too now you have had them a while.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Yea very good.  Worth the money for sure.  Very pleased with them. One strange thing is they seem the most improved in wet weather, which I can't seem to figure out why, however i'm not complaining.

Nice  s:) :) s:)  so where do we buy them?  s:D :D s:D

Directly from PB Brakes, I'd suggest getting a few people behind it to combine shipping because thats what pushes the cost up!  Lots of choice with the basic set up starting at £499

Wow £499 is pretty good. Thanks for the info I'll have a look

Need to work out if they would fit under my ROTAs

What size are they?  They have all the minimum sizes on the website.

Mine are 16" but I know from bitter experience it's not that simple, it depends on spoke shape (internal profile) and offset.

I had a seat Ibiza Cupar 20vt "when I were a nipper" - got the Brembo calipers etc for the front, I already had bigger aftermarket wheels so assumed it wouldn't be a problem...but I went to fit the wheel back on and...bugger!  s:D :D s:D  always wanted an excuse for new wheels

Finally putting it away for winter. A little late this year, tried to drag it out but the snow says no. Out comes the practical winter fun!

This is going to potentially be for sale as a whole but most likely in parts of anyone is interested.

I'm still in two minds, its mainly because its winter and I don't use it over winter so I always consider selling it.  If I do i'll go back to an A5/S5, more likely the A5 3.0 tdi quattro.  Everything on it can potentially be available but as I said its not for definite yet.  Seems a shame after all the effort I put in to it to just pull it apart.

Going to put a post up to see if I can get hold of an exhaust with cat for a bit to get an MOT on it as its not got one now.  Should be all it needs to get it through, if anyone fancies lending me one that'd be great!

You're right, I think I am going to keep it.  I went out in Taz's k20 Roadster tonight and it is an absolute animal.  Completely rekindled my love for the car!  What I really want to do is start piecing together a turbo kit but the parts are so few and far between it seems impossible unless buying as a whole!

I think that's the right decision!

Quote from: "Rob988"Very easily. Just used an electric spray gun. One you sometimes see decorators use to spray walls/fences. Worked a treat. So easy to do. You're welcome to borrow the gear Mike (as is anyone).

Hi rob

Really interested in the plastidip idea! What's the finish like? I understand Matt finishes are more common than a metallic/lacquered finish, is that due to the availability of colours? I've seen some arosol cans for sale with applicators, does that mean you can potentially change to colour of your at for sub £100?

Tbh if you want to borrow my gun, which is fine with me, you can do it properly for under £100.  Either that or bring it down and i'll do it with you!  What colour you thinking?  A good option is to go with your original colour in Matte, that way its easy to apply and gives a nice matte finish.  Finish overall is good but it has a strange feel to it, not that that really matters.  I wouldn't attempt anything other than a Matte personally.

Maybe a matte metallic blue, dark. What about washing it?

No problem washing it. You can jet wash it if you want. Doesn't seem to get that dirty but I guess matte shows it less.
