Not sure if this is the right place for this but I am thinking about selling my hard-top to recoup my recent gearbox outage. If I sell the full fitting kit what parts will I need to replace? I'm assuming there's a piece of trim to replace the silver brackets and new pillar plastics to replace the ones with the striker bits cut out. Anyone know how much I'm looking at for these?

Take them off whoever you sell too as part of the deal?
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

A good option with the side trim plastics is to swap with the buyer for their non cut bits.

You are correct there are covers for the chrome brackets. Body coloured parts.

Should fetch £500 in total for a good condition hood. More if you have a stand or storage bag.  Good time of year to sell.

I can't imagine the plastics are expensive.

Of course you can swap with the person who buys your roof.  There are several hardtops and fitting kits forsale on ebay which will give you a good idea of current market value.  Personally I bought my roof in summer for 200 ( or was it 220?) and fitting kit in separate purchases for 120. New fitting kits retail for 349!
