I agree pointless.
There is only one winner.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

A couple of induction mods there Alex.
Think the boy may have a point.

Yep known fact that the Toyota 2zz never made 190, but the lotus did with its ecu. That info is from rogue. But that to one side each dyno produces different results.

Very impressed with your project, not so with the name.
Unless you are putting the Honda engine into the front of the Toyota I suggest the name should be
TOYONDA
This puts that which is at the front at the front and that which is at the rear at the rear.
The central O is shared equally by the two marques, each have the same number of letters and all capitals does not place one above the other  s:wink:  s:wink:

Great project, can't wait to see how it pans out. Anyone else on here got a Honda conversion ? Guess not or they would have already said. Keep us posted as often as possible with plenty of pictures !

Well finished the driveway so i can start striping the old engine out now. Disocovered that the Rear Subframe thing has a nice hole of rust on the underside, so thats going to be replaced but it needs to come off to remove the engine.

Well projects been a bit slow of late but the following tasks have been undertaken.

Bought, and disisabled a set of Volks 2 piece spit rims ready for refurb and powder coating:

Removed the lower sub frame, which is well past its best.

Started to remove the paint off the K20 Head cover

Hopefully the rest of the parts should arrive on wednesday.

well it has been a while i would of loved to have finished by now but usual excuses are present here   s:( :( s:(

Any ways, painted the CAM cover on the Honda and put in a new clutch.

Wheels are back and rebuilt

LSD for the gearbox is arriving soon so the Gearbox came off again today ready to be disamantled.

Engine crane is on standby for removing the Toyota heart.

Sadly cracked the Gearbox casing when removing the Axles   s:cry:  s:cry:   but of course that doesn't effect me where im going.

Removed the Drives seat and salvaged the feet from the sub frame to make a new one for the bucket seat shouldn't be to bad, the floor is nice a flat just need to source some steel strips.

Not sure what to do with the Toyota Engine and box cant imagine there is much of a market for an oil burning, cracked gearbox caseing setup. Think i will have to strip it and take it down the local Tip.

Nice update Phil. I hope it's coming along nicely.

There was someone looking for a crankshaft a short while ago in the wanted section. It might be worth a look. Otherwise, there is always Ebay.

You may be able to sell the differential of its an lsd unit.
Ex 2GR-FE roadster. Sold it. Idiot.  Now Jaguar XE-S 380. Officially over by the bins.

If you sell the LSD out of the old box, I could be interested in it.

well its all got to go its no use to me  - i haven't completed any reasarch on identifying LSD on the Toyota but i will look into it. Was thinking of selling the ideal "to the wife" having  a Top Gear inspired coffee table made out of a 4 cyclinder 1zz
