Quote from: "Jrichards20"Have you got a little write up of the sub woofer? I.e make and where exactly you put it? So it didn't take up space?

No prob. When I get chance I will take a couple of pics, but it's basically one of those low profile ones that's designed to go under the seat, but the mr2 seat is too low so put it upright behind the passenger seat.
Had to move the passenger seat 2 clicks forward but you can hardly tell.

It sounds really good. I was going to change the stock speakers but I don't need to.
It really fills out the sound. Gives a nice thumping sound without going to the boy racer extreme

Today fitted the plasma dash lights and heater controls kit,

So here's some photos for anyone thinking of buying this kit... I am really pleased with it, they look better in real life than the photos.

No Andy, went straight forward... The heater ones were a bit of a pain because they have a bit that sticks out with the cable on and I needed to cut in a notch for it to go through, if you look at the photo really closely at the 10'o clock position on each control you can see where the tab is, but it altogether took about an hour I think.

They do look really good, I saw the picture of yours when I was searching the site for pictures whilst I was thinking of buying them.. You say "had" do you not have them anymore?

God man slow down there won't be anything stock left!
Your an inspiration.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I removed them due to a problem with my Rev counter failing,so I had to dismantle two units in order to retain my genuine mileage and keep putting the job off as I had a few problems when I initially fitted mine.

I found the dash literally a 10 minute job, didn't remove any needles just slipped over everything with gentle swearing, and a few minutes with a test meter to find the dash light wire on the plugs. The heater controls took the longest.

Scott, I'm planning to build another car out of stock parts.. lol.
Just found out my mate that has booked me into the Faversham car show is taking 2 more mates, I will be going with a TVR,  a Ferrari 360 and a porsche, so I need to get that bodykit finished.
No , seriously I should fit something functional like brace bars or something... I will get round to it eventually but I'm a visual kind of person.

That makes you the exact opposite of me, apart from a few badges, a bit of leather and some bling all my money has gone on turbo, bracing, brakes and suspension mods.
First practical mod should be bracing especially if your serious about a turbo.

Cheers... There are people on here with a lot nicer cars than mine but most of my mods are affordable or made affordable by doing myself and I thought if I add pics for everything people can make a decision if they want to purchase them for themselves.
It's a bit more of a info thread (before after pics) than showing off my car, because as I said there are a lot of nice cars on here and mine does not come close to them   s:D :D s:D

Yeah, I've already been looking at bracing.. But to do the turbo properly I need to take the car off the road and to be honest I am enjoying it too much, I want to see summer through first then take it off the road for winter and get down to some serious work.

Best way to do it take your time see what the car has to offer in standard form, tbh i went turbo too soon but i craved more power. Want even more now!
