I bought my Roadster last weekend, fettled it to death in the one week I've had it lol... Yesterday did a full service (plugs, filters, oil)..  2 front tyres ordered and waiting.

It is an 03 with a hardtop..

I have about £500 to spend on something nice for her, but what?  I'm happy with the standard alloys, 15 front, 16 rear.. So if you had £500, what would you do or get??

I'd go for a few of the following:
MattPerformance brace
Hel braided brake lines
Nathan's ultimate gearshift bushes
Waxoyl the underside/weather treat it
Interior upgrade, be that leather, or red, or some new HVAC knobs
Check state of radiator & rear crossmember, maybe replace if they look a bit tired.

Or if you want one big upgrade, maybe a shiny new exhaust and manifold, or BC coilovers?

Agreed on the AD08Rs. Cancel the order of the two new fronts.
Buy some nice brake pads with what's left

Start here, and see what you've got left.  Also whip out the pre-cats if they are still in.

Yep, should have put those two at the top of my list, then MattPerformance brace, then any of the others with what's left!

Follow JKs advice.
Your rear crossmember is in good shape i presume?
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

How did I miss the brace!
It's the first mod anybody should do! (assuming you've got 4 matching and correctly staggered good tyres)

Rear crossmember seems to be ok, I will do a thorough inspection though.. There was general rust on it but no holes and I did poke about.. Was too busy changing the oil etc though so will defo check that out..  Will also check the rad  s:) :) s:)

As for the tyres, I have the same tyres on the axles but not all round.  I will in a short time have them all the same though.. Pzero's on the back at the moment.

By what I've read so far, Matt's brace is a must. Put my name down yesterday for one. Then it would have to brakes if it was me.

Personally, I'd go for something like this:

Lots of good suggestions above, matts brace definitely worth doing and a nice cheap one is wind deflectors (I have bekatees small ones, not sure if she is still doing them but mongos are still available) they do a fantastic job of pushing the air behind you.

That's a great idea! - Would love to do that.. I think Brands Hatch for some reason, would want to experience that first corner! - Then a toss up out of Silverstone and Donington.  I did Rockingham in a 911 turbo.
