They've been in fashion for a while in Japan though, haven't they? Yokohama Super Advans for one.. And I must admit, I do love those (the Yoko's, not the one in the picture, which look like someone borrowed them off a Fiesta  s;) ;) s;) )

Yeah, Super Advans have always been popular on big motors in japan because of their size> weight ratio.  You get some interesting colour combos as well.

The good thing about three spoke alloys is they're really easy to clean!  I had some on my old Punto (1995 - that'll soon be 10 years ago!) and they were a breeze.  Not sure they look good on an MR-2 though!
