I only meant looking oem as in all the structural work he has done and making it fade into the background and focusing on the engine more.

Blue does limit the choice of highlight colours, if you had a silver, black or sable you could pick just about anything.

The plenum looks nice in sable with some bright colours for the rocker covers?

Yes, I think you are right, a blue structure would probably look better as it blends in. Not sure about a sable plenum on a blue car?

Chassis - Blue
Plenum -  Black  or  Sable  or  Red  or  Blue    
Rocker Covers - Ferrari Red

I'm at the understanding that the subframe is black and engine is what it is. Only choices for colour are the bay, plenum and rocker covers? and possibly air filter bit

Second one down, blue car, red rockers and sable plenum! Pretty sure there is a better photo of it too on the website.

I think you will find you are repainting the rear subframe yourself pretty soon anyway! Mine went rusty very quickly.

although the performance is more important than the colour, but I cant do anything about that at the moment.

I'm with OEM chassis all the way. Leave the engine alone, close the lid & enjoy   s8) s8)

if it was me i would go for

Chassis - Blue
subframe - black
Plenum - Black or silver
Rocker Covers - Black or silver

me personally i dont like engines or parts of engines painted colours but thats just me

No I haven't, and it definitely helps, don't like the different colour chassis, so that's out, definitely blue chassis and bay! But it does show the sable goes nicely with the blue.

Steering towards
Chassis - blue
Rocker covers - red
Plenum - sable

I could be tempted by a red or blue one if the photoshoppery looks awesome!  s:) s:)

The "hotwork" has now been done, the stock engine lid catch panel gets removed and then Paul has added two rear support bars which allows him to reuse the original mounting tabs on the new crossmember. This allows plenty of engine clearance while retaining the engine lid catch. Something that I had completely swanned over it and not even realised that this was part of the chassis modification. Everyone always talks about the nick in the lower crossmember and the top crossmember never gets mentioned...
