This shows the flowing Y merge of the exhaust, with the U bend to create a better merge and to keep both downpipes of equal length. This then goes into a 3'' Duplex silencer and the tail pipes will swoop until the bumper. Only going for a twin pipes not a quad.

You may see something missing, and yes, it will stay missing. It may be a tiny bit loud but should give an almighty roar! The engine is almost finished now, its along way off being anywhere near driveable though. Once the tail pipes are finished, the rear calipers needs to be bodged just to get the car moving. Then the long list of fitting everything that I've accumulated like suspension arms, wishbones, PS rack. Once that lots been fitted I can then have it geo'd and lowered and test the handling a little bit. Then comes the very important brakes. I've decided against any sort of big brake upgrade and going to get some new/refurbed calipers and going for some high spec discs and pads, likely carbo-tech or similar, with high spec brake fluid. Already got braided lines and sort out the brake air duct. original plan was to get a FL bumper and use the fogs for an air duct, but I've seen another example of the PFL bumper being used to will give that a try first. Then do some appearance related bits like C-One style side vents and softtop stripped.

Don't worry about the rambling above, mainly there for me to make sure I keep track of what im meant to be doing and how much I constantly change my mind  s:) s:)

Probably a long time yet, it will be drivable to dong day and I will be there in the 2 and it may not have been lowered or geo'd so it wont be able to do any runs or particularly spirited driving.  But hopefully at least it will be driving!!

Indeed Nigel  s:) s:) , going catless to hopefully squeeze that last bit of power out of the engine and give it a better noise. Will be interesting to see what it gets on the dyno.
