Hi,

I'm currently running the stock Bridgestone RE040s on my 2004 MR2:

Front: 185/55/R15
Rear: 215/45/R16

The rears are pretty much spent so looking to replace them. Looks like I can get a pair of the RE040s fitted for around £160.

I've heard good things about the Toyo T1-Rs though and I could get all four replaced with those for around £200. I think you can only get the Toyos on the rear at 215/40/R16 - I take it this won't make too much difference?

Any thoughts? The fronts have a decent amount of life left in them yet, but I'm leaning more towards changing all four whilst I'm at it.

Went for a new pair of RE040s as a direct replacement for the rears in the end!
