Seems a good price.
Chilli could remove some of the extra bracing and sell on and the car would be even cheaper.

Hi 1E7-ZZW30, if you could reduce to 3k I would b v interested, I'm just conscious I shall need to tax it so it would then be in my price range.  I'm coming up to Scotland for Christmas & New Year, may I, if you still have it, come and view it then? As Scotte said, I'm not bothered abt extra bracing, BC coilovers, hardtop, etc. as wont ever b racing it.  Certainly would prefer to b buying a car off this excellent forum & sounds as if you've looked after it.

Bit higher mileage than I think you'd like, but local, from the interior it looks in good shape and reasonable money.

Dealer as well, so can be ultra picky, get some stuff done as well as have a comeback/guarantee for the first few months

Hi Chilli, if I remove all the bracing too, then yes, I would reduce it to £3000.

Ok great. You've probably already answered all the normal questions before like when it was last given a service by yourself, etc.  It's likely to be early Jan when I shall be up there so look forward to seeing you in 2016!  Look after it until then, will you?!!  Chilli may well be back sooner than you guys/gals think!

No, couldn't get away from work in time, sadly! Now concentrating on this 55 reg as after a later 2 if I was honest!  Looking forward to seeing the silver one in Jan tho!   s:D :D s:D

The last service I did was just before the MOT, which is in Sep/Oct. Since,  I have only managed to cover around 300 miles.
The car is in hibernation since the end of November now so it's snuggled up  s:P :P s:P

HELP - I don't know what to do!  As you all know I enquired about the gumtree 05 black with 44,500 miles on it and as I hadn't heard I thought it had been sold.  Anyway yesterday I got an email saying it was still for sale and I could have the car for £2,500 which I thought was an excellent price.  It's had only 2 owners, the last guy has had it for 6.5 years and only used as a summer car and only done 6,000 miles in all that time.  I asked re history but the latest full service was in Aug 12 at 41,000 miles done by Toyota Dumfermline.  Apparently it has had an interim service seen then but my concern is it obviously hasn't had a lot else during his ownership because of the little miles it's done!  My question is, is this a good buy or am I likely to get a lot of problems because of its little use?  Help me please!  s:( :( s:(

Coming from a complete ftsh Chilli, serviced each year almost to the same day & same month, new oil, etc. etc.  My question/concern was how healthy is the engine if oil hasn't been changed for 3 years plus?  It is cheap, I agree.

I'm still hoping to pop and see the silver 55 from the forum in January as I believe that's been regularly serviced by him but also raced once!    s:? :? s:?
