Beautiful example.

Credit to the previous owner and yourself for continuing to invest in its upkeep to the same high standard.

Love the red roof.

If mine wasn't more of a track toy, I'd seriously consider swapping to a red roof.

Quote from: "Jrichards20"Just look at the 2 next to the mx5. It's amazing how anyone can choose the mx5, looks ghastly next to the 2! Such a better looking car! When's your dad getting a 2 then  s;) ;) s;)

Ha, think he loves his '5 too much to jump ship, but he has admired it, albeit from a far...   s:lol:  s:lol:

So, this turned up today....

Had a go at test fitting it.....

Quite pleased with how it's turned out, went for the black mesh in the end as it's nice and subtle and contrasts with the silver better. It's just placed and not secured for now, as I've ordered this genuine 'Toyota Sport' badge, which will hopefully replace the Zunsport badge to give a more OEM factory look.....

My banana turned up today, biggest banana I've ever bought!   s:lol:  s:lol:    s:roll:  s:roll:

I'm going to get my local bodyshop to paint it, but I'm not overly keen on having the engine lid drilled into. Has anyone had the TTE banana spoiler fitted just by having it bonded? I've read the fitting guide, just interested if anyone fitted it without screwing it down? Obviously want it to be secure, but would ideally like to avoid drilling holes.

The Toyota Sport badge turned up for the front grill, but it won't cover the whole of the base where the Zunsport badge was, so back to the drawing board on that one....

Really liking the look of your car, and the subtle changes you are doing to it, the shopping list of bits for my car gets longer and longer as I get inspiration from seeing great cars like yours.

Engines lids are basically free these days, especially in silver, so I wouldn't worry too much about the drilling. I had a spare silver lid with holes pre-drilled until not long ago  s:( :( s:(

Thanks very much! It's a bit of a slippery slope, I like to keep my cars fairly OEM, but there are so many nice examples on here, I keep getting ideas and new things I want. Just don't want to modify it too much....   s:D :D s:D

That car is a bit of a minter for anything too far from oem.
Nice subtle mods please
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Haven't updated this for a little while.....

Took the TWO for a chilly morning blast to the Pistonheads Sunday service at Bruntingthorpe a few weeks ago, early morning start, getting the TWO out of bed.

Despite a really cold morning, I manned up and drove there with the roof down!
Got parked next to another 'two' which turned out to be fellow forum member on here Ardent, what were the chances?!

Today, I spent some time on the 'two', finally got around to fitting my new TTE Banana spoiler.....

I've never been a fan of the fake carbon fiber door sill covers, coupled with the fact that they had a few unsightly scuffs, they were letting down, an otherwise mint interior, so forked out for some brand new Toyota 'MR-S' door sill covers....
