Ive already uploaded some pitures in the welcome section, but i thought i'd start a thread in this section, anyway brought the car on 14th febuary this year, looks in good condition for a 14 year old car, 64,000 miles, full service history( stamped book no receipts)

Been checking all the usual things to look for, sub frame is solid, no rust, just a grey colour, can't see it being original but no proof its been changed, new springs been fitted all round, took front plastics out under the bonnet on saturday, found its had new radiator + hoses, very little rust around, just surface rust on the front cross members which ive treated, and the steering uj looked rusted so wire brushed it and greased it up!!

Decided to check the pre-cats yesterday, its had new o2 sensors so i hoped they had been removed.
Took both sensors out to find that both pre-cats are still there and 100% intact after 14 years!!
Dont want to de-cat the old manifold, its old, ugly and very rusty, so drove to Birmingham after work this afternoon and picked up a new Toyosport manifold for £90, getting my mechanic mate to fit it on wednesday.

Next thing i'm going to do is change the tyres, its got matching Toyo proxes on the rear, but one has a very slight bulge in the side wall, and the front tyres look abit old, not worn still good tread on them, they are Champiro gt's.

thanks for looking.

Thanks, since I last posted I've had the new Toyosports manifold fitted, I've kept the original manifold as there's nothing wrong with it and the pre- cats have not broken up at all, so might aswell keep hold of it.
Also had four new tyres fitted.
I plan on getting a new red mohair roof fitted at jack smiths in Swansea this year as the original ones looking abit tired on closer inspection, small cracks forming on the edges and seams where it folds, but it is 14 years old so it's done well.
It's 100% water tight, but I'd rather get new one before it leaks, plus red looks a lot better!!

Red on a silver looks the dogs.
What tyres did you opt for?
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

I went for toyo proxes, same as what it had on the rear before, mainly due to the cost of 4 tyres.
