Just looked at my tyres - they are all Toyo T-1R but the rears appear to be non-standard 215/40/16 - she seems OK on them and apart from lowering gearing but I wondered why?
2005 Mr2 - 1997 Lotus Elise - Suzuki Jimny - - is there a pattern?

I thought that was standard. Or is it 225 rear section?

Either way it's going to make naff all difference.

The standard rear on a FL is 215/50-R16 but thats the only size the T1-R's come in for 215 width

Hmm - I see having odd wheels causes the same sort of problems as on the Elise - getting matching tyres in different sizes.

Anyway she goes fine on them (gearing less that 4% lower so no big deal) - not a huge fan of T-1R's (got them on the Elise) so will go for something else when they wear out anyway...
