So, I painstaking created a Japanese yahoo account which has now given me access to the auction site  :-) :-) :-)  (this basically involves tediously selecting japanese characters from a selection list that "look" like the image on the screen).

All I need to do now is find a bargain and a person who's willing to ship to the UK! out of interest.. do you pay import duty for second hand stuff?

EDIT: this isn't working out too well... not only is their stuff expensive, but a lot of the sellers simply say " no international shipping correspondence "... nuts

You have to pay duty taxes etc.
Last year i really wanted TRD sportivo suspension the price of the kit from japan wasnt too bad but by the time you added shipping and taxes it was coming in almost double the price of coilovers.

I use Jesse Streeter, an Aussie guy who lives in Japan:  m http://jessestreeter.com/ m

I used him to import my Recaro seat subframes (found on UpGarage!:  m http://www.upgarage.com/en/ m  ), and I currently have some TEIN SuperStreet Coilovers and EDFC (from Yahoo Auctions) headed across on the boat to me as we speak!

He's very good, very efficient, and quick to respond. Highly recommended.

Nice one! So all my painstaking efforts to generate my japanese yahoo account are for nothing.. oh well!

May I ask how much (all in) you've managed to get your coilovers for?

The coilovers and EDFC came to £777.86 all-in.

I've used him this week. Shipping trd strut bars over. A bit expensive but worth it for parts that are difficult to get.
2zz by Rogue. Se7en cams. BMC CDA. Competion clutches lightened flywheel, Megillian Racing Exhaust. TRD sportivo suspension and ARB\'s. TRD braces. TRD quick shift. TRD dash kit, Matts brace. Getting there but not sure when it will stop!
