Bit of progress over the week end.
Air filter change. This has been in a long time. Last service by MrT was at 84k miles, I'm now at 90K.

Cleaned the MAF
ECU reset
Polished the lights
Before

After

Went for a spin

Took the back roads to Skinfirth, one of my favorite bike routes. Plenty of twisty B roads. Gave her a good thrashing.

Relocated the alarm and flipped the spare wheel at the weekend. I still have a problem with the sheared spare wheel bolt, this looks like a drill out job now. s:( :( s:(
Frunk cover now has all its plastic fasteners, £2.99 well spent.
Whilst I was in the front took a look at the general state. The external tube of the steering rack looks corroded, boots are ok. UJ looks ok apart from peeling paint. Anti roll bar coating is peeling off. Tin of hammerite is in order I think.

I do like the fl blue metallic. What's it's proper Mr T name? I'd definitely be looking for one that colour if I didn't have my fl sable  s;) ;) s;)
As for frunk plastic fasteners, where did you source  them from? Could do with some myself...

Flush & oil change done without removing the under trays. Fitted K & N race oil filter. Quick spin tonight. Seems to run much better but maybe that's my imagination.

Agreed
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Did the timing chain tensioner o ring today and put a new radiator from cool parts in as I noticed the old one was leaking from the lower right corner

Bit of a mess. Will drain the system and refill now

Radiator is in and filled. Heater works  s:) :) s:) . I swapped over the bleed and drain plugs as the Toyota ones are easier to use. Word of warning. The bleed plug did not seal properly. I probably should have at least replaced the o ring. Anyway changed it back to the coolparts one and all is ok. Will keep An eye on the drain plug to make sure it doesn't have the same problem. Only other issue was one of the captive nuts that hold the fan assembly on was missing from the new rad but I just rescued one out of the old rad.
Fog lights next

Got the the front bumper off tonight. Just one snapped bolt underneath. Only problem is the spares I got aren't a pair  s:( :( s:(
Tempted to try the cheap LED halo lights but I don't fancy doing the wiring, Any guide to this around?

Got some halo lights just trying to work out how to fit them. I think if I turn the supplied bracket at 90 degrees to the light and make a plate I can clamp them to the bumper without modifying it. Wiring was abortive today as I bought a female 9600 plug and not the male required. Off to the Stafford classic bike show tomorrow so probably get the connector there.

Fogs fitted now. Pretty way with a couple of 6mm screws and modified washers. Bit of wiring to do

After 2 years of ownership the oil consumption got to me. I had a continual P0420 code but there seemed little point in replacing the cat without doing something about the engine.
The guy I bought this off must have known there was an issue. When I went through the service history I did find a Toyota main dealer comment that the car had no oil in it at a service.
Call to Dean at Rutland located a 30k engine. So new heart, clutch rear discs and pads and no EML
