As above what's the easiest solution to connect my iPhone 6 to the stock head unit?

I already know the answer will be buy another headunit but id like to keep the stock one if I can...

I just recently bought an FM modulator/transmitter with Bluetooth and aux in from Amazon. Was < £10 and expected quality to be useless but it's actually OK. Gives option to tune to any FM frequency which headunit picks up even without ariel and no hissing/background noise.

Unit plugs into 12v accessory socket and provides x2 USB charge points.

I bought this as I've got a nav pod that I've mounted a Nexus 7 tablet in it for ODB2 app and wanted to be able to stream Spotify over bluetooth to standard headunit.

You can also get an aux in adapter that uses CD autochanger plugs on back of the headunit but when I looked for MR2 MK3 they are around £60.

This works very well:-

Look at this on eBay   m http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182454649495 m

There's a basic AUX version too if you don't want the Bluetooth option.

Awesome looks like just what I'm after, assume you have the same connected to the standard 58806 head unit?

Yes I have the same unit. BUT I can't recall the lead used. Yatour manufacture two style leads for Toyota vehicles. There's the older 5+7 and the newer 6+6. My Yatour unit was swapped from my older Celica. If you check the rear of the head unit or find some images online to confirm which style socket is required.

Hi guys,

The link shows no results anymore, was that a yatour device?

If so,
What unit number?
Does it charge the phone as well if connected thru usb(iphone x)
Where did you fit the interface?
Thanks

I used to have the Sony xa-300 on my old pre-fl radio (doesn't work on the facelift one I think).
It had a USB input, but didn't work with my iPhone.
Instead I just used the stereo jack instead.

So, without major surgery, I think on the facelift stereo you're pretty stuck unless you can tap into the cd changer wiring.
If you swap it for a pre-fl (which are much cooler looking anyway) you can hook up a Sony xa-300 and you could diy a wire that went from USB (female), one wire to 12v for charging and one wire for the left/right channels and common.

And after all that... You can spend less money on a replacement unit with built in USB and most likely Bluetooth :)

Where there's a will there's a way
...neutiquam erro.

The link still works for me? I've never used the USB connection so cannot comment.
My set up includes a Btc450 kinivo unit for the Bluetooth connection this passes the signal to the Yatour adapter via a 3.5mm jack. Charging of my mobile is via the cigarette lighter using a USB adapter.
The adapter is quite small and is cable tied to a bracket behind the headunit.

It's possible to have USB & Bluetooth input with the standard FL head unit :

It requires a 'Y' adapter cable to fit
