It was scary quick then

That was the weather as much as anything raining and cold. It was bone dry and sunny this afternoon 10 centigrade.

How fast was matts TX track slag?
That was the fastest car in the club wasn't it?

Mine was making 300bhp / 269lb/ft at the wheels if I remember correctly. What differential are you running?
Ex 2GR-FE roadster. Sold it. Idiot.  Now Jaguar XE-S 380. Officially over by the bins.

It's an S51/54 hybrid transmission as far as I know.
After that I get confused.

I had two setups, the first, when you experienced it, was with a viscous coupling diff, traction was "marginal" but manageable. In the wet, spinning the wheels up in 3rd and 4th was possible. Adjusting rear camber from -3 to -2 degrees helped. Later, I had a Quaife ATB and this had an almost magical ability to provide forward thrust. On cold wet R888R, full throttle in 3rd was often doable, and when it did start to relinquish traction, you always knew what was going on, really progressive. In the dry, full throttle in everything but 1st was easy. The best thing about the ATB though, was the ability of it to make it easy to balance the car on the throttle. Fabulous setup.

186 miles covered.
39.67 litres of super unleaded.
Works out about 21 mpg.
And 150 them were probably motorway miles.

Saw 8 psi on the gauge today.
