2004 - smt 6 speed, facelift edition

Hi everyone
After about 60 miles or so my vsc and trc light comes on.  The vehicle drives ok.
We disconnect the battery and wait to hear the 8 beeps, then the vsc and trc is not on.
Is anyone having this problem
