Has anyone got pictures of alternative shapes for a 5 digit number plate on a '2. I've read threads re legality of different shapes, but not many pics of 5 digit, therefore smaller plates.

Also, what are thoughts on motorcycle style rear plates?

Mine's a 2000 mode, if this hads any bearing on legality of them?

Cheers.

Beat me to it Liz!

Worsley, If you're going with m'cycle plate, it might look a bit "boxy" on the '2, and I doubt its legality. Import plates are more in keeping with the car's profile IMHO.

legal-eeze: "Imported cars are permitted to have the registration on two lines, with motorcycle sized legal letters. The rules governing reflective backing and Euro badges still apply."..... I've yet to discover for certain whether UK models are allowed to switch to import plates, but I suspect not. (Maybe get yourself an MR-S badge at the same time?!)

FYI, legal-sized import plates are 12"x6" or 13"x6"

Thanks for the advice.

I think I will go with a smaller version of the regular plate.
