So got these off eBay a while back, I know they're not a complete set but I can use the matching pair
they need a clean up, and the rubber seems to have split

My questions are,
can the rubber be replaced?
Are they useable as they are?
Which ones do they replace?
Or are they for the scrap bin?

Pics are fine.
Arms look like they have seen better days.
I would only use the matching pair.
Lower trailing arms I think.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Cheers, yeah I'd only use the matching pair of arms, but I can strip the others for spare bits.
Nice! if they're worth that much (I got them for next to nothing) i might persevere with them. Anyone have a rough idea of powder coating costs for the top 2 arms in the pic above ?
I see on the topspeed pics they don't have the rubber, can they be run without them

Topspeed arms have spherical joints which are different to your bushed arms. You def need poly or rubber bushes in yours.

Wonder why that is, they're hosted through imgur if that makes a difference.

So I sacrificed one to have a better look. The rubber appears to be bonded to the arm, basically disintegrated when I pulled on it. The outer metal sections  pulled out and  Inside there's a movable joint held in by circlips. I'd need to remove this before powder coating, can't see how I'd get it out though even with the circlips removed.

Are they machine pressed in/out?

Could well be the case. If they are I think I'll just unscrew the ball joint end and hammerite them and just get the fork section and main body powdercoated.......

The rubbers are just dust covers then? In which case they are spherical joints I'm guessing - you may be able to get new dust covers for minimal cost.

It does look like they are, I found some rubber grommets online that look like they could well do the job of dust covers, I'll probably have a play round with the dismantled one and see how I get on.
