Correct!!  Bolt goes into head from underneath.  Spacer goes into head from on top.  Damper sits on top of spacer.

Well done Pat you've now chosen to wear the Pants of Shame in perpetuity.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Sorry Jon, do you mean fitting or driving?

To be honest I haven't really noticed much difference yet, probably me just being very insensitive to changes. :-\ I'm sure under some circumstances it does make a difference.

You should be able to notice it on the upshift when accellerating hard through a long corner.
The weight transfer of the engine should be less.

Looks good btw  :notworthy:

I have the red one too but find it a bit gipsy caravan bling in my grey engine bay  :-[

Well finished piece of kit Carolyn. Thank you!

It was indeed in the post office but being Semana Santa it is closed. I have it anyway. That is one of the perks of a small village.
Was drinking my morning coffee in the bar just across the square and the postman saw my notice lying on the table so ´I will get it for you.´

Carolyn

I don't know if it's the picture, but it looks like it's not quite straight.  It should be ok, but ideally the force should be transmitted perpendicular to the engine.

To others:  Take your time marking up where to drill so it all lines up.

I also notice it when slipping the clutch, reversing, and pulling away.
