Not really a top down person which is why i fitted a hard top, but now thats sold on and its such a nice day here, i had to have a drive out with roof down..Didnt ruin my hair like my old mg midget used to do, and thats not because i dont have any anymore.

Always amazes me the number of people who keep the roof up in hot weather, especially those with electric hoods who could drop at the touch of a button.....
Today
2000 x reg pfl - blue - as original no mods
In the late 1980's

Touch of a button maybe, but how long to perform the balletic operation.
I do admire the mechanical wizardery that goes into them.

But for sheer un adultrated nonchalance.

Red light, stop, drop windows an inch, move sun visor x2 Unlatch x2. (all of which is not seen by others) then flick back hood, which is seen.
Hood up hood down 2-3 seconds (no counting unseen bits)
Practical and functional vs poser.  :D
