I've painted my chrome '03+ headlights and installed on my '01 spyder. More details can be found here:

nice, but not enough of a contrast for my liking, just seems to hide the light unit  s:? :? s:?

I like them! I always thought the chrome is a bit too blingy for my taste...

I wonder how they would look in red  s:roll:  s:roll:

Btw, why didn't you take the orange flasher off, while you were at it? Or can't it be done with these lights?
Sure you can live without 500hp, but it\'s languishing.

Hi,

Like it - looks a very nice finish.

you get the use of the new lights, without the bling!

You from the US ? I notice the extra indicator light on the bumper.

Cheers

reheated the glue that came with it stock. I'm sure you can use the same window sealer used to put windshields in.

Loads of info on painting the headlights can be found here:

I did have a slight leak after reheating mine but will be using clear silicone sealant to remidy this. Available from any DIY or Building Merchants.

I have a pair of 00-02 lamps for sale at any reasonable offer if anyone would like to experiment with painting the headlamps a different colour  s:D :D s:D
You could try Red or Blue for example, however they arn't chrome as standard they are black which is an advantage for black readster owners out there!  s:wink:  s:wink:
