Hi.   s:) :) s:)

Can somebody tell me the thread size and pitch of the tow hook? Does it have some kind of standard size like M12, M16, etc?

This is the story: The previous owner of my car lost the tow hook. Now, since I'm taking my '2 on a Track Day this weekend, I need to have two towing hooks fitted on my car. Toyota asks €25 for each hook and would only supply them in two weeks. My neighbour, who's a metal fabricator, has kindly offered to make a couple of them for me.

Note: I've searched, both here and on Spyderchat, but could only find this http://www.mr2roc.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3694&highlight=tow

Thanks!   s:D :D s:D

Carlos, I have no idea what size exactly, but it definately will be metric. I suppose the only thing I can suggest is to try some different sized bolts in the hole to finf the right one - I do know it's quite big though!

Just been out and measured mine.

I would say it's M22 x 2.0 mm
