The yellow beast has arrived.

Now we have two supercharged MR2s on the premises, alongside a rather special MR S.

What fun.

loads of work to do on Scotte's, but nothing tooo daunting.

Scotte's yellow beast now has a new clutch-slave-cylinder- from -hell, thanks to Jonbill spending most of the day working on it.

That was the last job on the list - yee hah!

My pleasure. Scotte - do you have the "project" for the ECU by any chance? I'm looking at checking out the map and changing it if necessary. I don't fancy starting from scratch, so a copy of the "windows client" project would be dead handy.

Sorry mate I've only plugged the laptop into it once to check afr and boost.
All I've done is downloaded the software from the website as far as I remember.
I'm sure I saved a copy of the map when I did that but it probably got deleted since due to lack of storage.

yes! a zip of that EMU folder would be handy.
you didn't do the original mapping I take it? was this "bee6" folder created when you plugged in your PC to check AFR and boost?
did it give you an option to use the map on the ecu or the one in the project when you plugged it in?

Pretty sure it gives you the option to backup the map on the ecu to your pc.
I'm hopeful that the majority of the map is good and perhaps only needs tweeking at full boost/revs.
The ecu has auto tune and target afr so I would like to think it will adjust itself to suit.

Last time it saw a dyno it made 255 ft lbs ish at the wheels the worry would be if it makes much more torque it could break a drive shaft or maybe bend a rod.
