yes! a zip of that EMU folder would be handy.
you didn't do the original mapping I take it? was this "bee6" folder created when you plugged in your PC to check AFR and boost?
did it give you an option to use the map on the ecu or the one in the project when you plugged it in?

Pretty sure it gives you the option to backup the map on the ecu to your pc.
I'm hopeful that the majority of the map is good and perhaps only needs tweeking at full boost/revs.
The ecu has auto tune and target afr so I would like to think it will adjust itself to suit.

Last time it saw a dyno it made 255 ft lbs ish at the wheels the worry would be if it makes much more torque it could break a drive shaft or maybe bend a rod.
thanks, if it lets me copy whats on the ECU I should be good. I was only going to make sure its safe at full load, now the belt isn't slipping.

If it makes more than 10psi we could be in trouble.

Still not sure i trust the waste gate setup to do its job.
We'll find out.

I just took the Yellow Peril round the block for a shakedown run.

All I have to say is:

JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESUUUUUUUUUUUUS!

It seems to be running rather well.

Glad you liked it

It wasn't ever something you could ever call slow Carolyn.
Made 250 ish ft lbs on the dyno.

Well done.
Thanks again.

How did the weight compare to a standard car?

Notice any difference?

Only booted it in a straight line. It felt fine to steer - but with cold tyres and a cold road I wasn't about to see how it felt in the corners.

It doesn't give the impression of being a lot heavier.

Previous owner had it corner weighted at 1070kg.
I belive with all the extra bracing and supercharger gubbins it could be now around 1120kg but I don't know.

Always good to hear an unbiased opinion.

I suppose its a bit of a moot point now as I dont expect we will see many more V6 swops, not when they cost so much (did I hear £11k for Rogue to do it??).

It was one of the worries when I had it done and everyone said it was not a problem and I never found it to be.

11k? That must be for a 2gr surely? That's mega bucks for a 1mz. Especially when you think 3-5k on a turbo install would probably be quicker!
Don't get me wrong I love a V6 in a 2 but anymore than 6k just doesn't make sense.

Rogue were always very expensive for v6 stuff, but that seems bloody high!

Another one won't hurt  .....

I think I heard someone say that but it could have been for a 2GR which would make more sense.

I havent asked Rogue!

For the un-initiated; that may stumble across this. The above comment is from a woman that has previously strapped a rocket to her back. And when I say rocket. I mean, a rocket.
For the pedantic. Yes, she lit the fuse.

Yes, Rogue 2GR swap is about that, but you do get a professional, high quality installation. Personally, I consider it a fair price for having a proper job.

Not a bad price for a 2gr but not a 1mz

Yep, for a 2GR £11k doesnt sound as ridiculous as it does for a 1mz!

(PS Perhaps you need a GR yaris Chris!).

To get the speculation out of the question - Rogue's quote 2GR is 16.5k turn key, 3GS is 13k turn key and the price is in pounds. Can have slight deviation due to donor car price.

Off topic: For such money one can have Cayman plus change for spares and consumables.
