I get a good price on it though and has black hardtop and ac :)
Sell the top. Pays  for a sub frame.

I really like it with the hardtop :)

I know its worth a bit to someone but the car feels complete with it fitted.

Cheers :)

Complete.
I call it over dressed. ;)

Welcome to the banter.

I think you need a GT86 mate.
Its a roadster.
Roadster = soft top.
Simples.
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Had to Google it.
Had me interested until I read 3s gte.
Weighs a ton especially with the E153 box. My 3L V6 1mz is lighter.

Lee h had a 3s gte in the middle of his 2. Made around 280bhp with a standalone. I belive he enjoyed drag racing. Sold it in the end and went back to  Honda. Nice guy and knowledgeable was a shame to see him go.

Its more the aesthetic I like than anything else ;)

Don't listen to @1979scotte re: hardtop :)

There's nothing wrong with swapping a coupe for a roadster and vice versa twice a year.

If you run with the hardtop all year round though, then I'm disappointed too :D

When I am out for a drive with the wife then the top is off :) when I am out for a spirited drive I like the top on ;)

Ardent

Think how spirted it would be without the 20kg ballast.

Just saying.

This is an all inclusive forum. Hairdresser's and all. ;)

Loving how you have gone from newbie to full on  banter sparring.

You will also have noticed, the thread has mildly drifted off topic.
Rust areas to hair dressers. 20 mins on the naughty step for us all.

One member @StuC ? Even had a vinyl on the rear facing pop up draft excluder. (Technical term) no hair dressing equipment left over night.
Still makes me smile.

It would need a hardtop though 😁

And apologies to OP as the thread has gone off topic in a fantastic fashion

I think @The Other Stu is a dab hand at the vinyl as well.

I spy a pattern there.

A good way to get the post count up and open up the other goodies like private sales etc, and we are helping. I feel no shame whatsoever :D

Not That Matt

Another area that doesn't get mentioned is the area around the base of the rear strut towers. It looks like water gets trapped behind the seam seal and rots the join. The blue car is my old one which is on it's way be being made into bean cans (not just because of this!), an 02 PFL. The yellow one was an 04 FL that was for sale at a dealer that looked good in the photos but was a right shed when it came to look at it. Both on the driver's side with the passenger side not affected in the same way.
