Can someone please confirm if this metal ring gasket is a suitable replacement for the two that attach the tail pipes to the Remus TTE exhaust? I've read that they are the same as the Volvo ones but I would like to purchase before I remove the exhaust, also I'm nowhere near the car atm. Looking to get the back box exit pipes welded to stop the usual rattle around 2500 rpm 🤞.

Don't think that's quite the right size. From an old post of mine, it's CEG112

B. Double check your gasket size, they may be OK but a previous recommendation I found on the forum was a few MM too big. These fit:  https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CEG112-Exhaust-Ring-Gasket-AUDI-80-90-FIAT-TEMPRA-TIPO-VOLVO-240-VW-GOLF-1-6/230683030206?epid=1892310924&hash=item35b5c7b2be:g:sOcAAMXQlUNRQRif

C. I don't know if there's any danger of damaging the lip on the exhaust silencer or the ends of the tips, but I found my nearside had worked its way loose.  I tightened it up again but it's something where I don't like to tighten it too far.

Ardent

Might result in some duplication but just in case.

Also covers the Vee bands.

Can't seem to get the clamps from euro car parts locally or delivered, anyone know of an another good source please (avoiding Toyota as I'm guessing they will be too expensive) ?

Anyone know if this is the same fit please?

Unfortunately mate it's probably a case of cross comparing compatibility lists (hence others trawling through and finding the subtle change in recommendation of Volvo models over the years on here).

Euro Parts number into Google says theirs was a Klarius item again (sorry all my photos from that era are long gone).

Second post in this thread does reference Berlingo and 69mm, so if your eBay item is 69mm it is probably OK

The big challenge is finding something that doesn't start rusting the minute it is fitted to the car.....

Thanks for that. 69mm is hopefully the magic number 🤞. I guess corrosion wise, unless you can get a stainless steel version its a matter of keeping an eye on the clamps, maybe very high temperature paint from new?

To barchetta_ms' point further up - I ended up replacing the clamps a second time a couple of years later. Bearing in mind the car lived in a garage and only covered 4k a year in my ownership they didn't seem particularly long-lasting. Second time out I coated them in protective spray wax before fitting but I imagine that didn't last very long.

Cheap enough though I guess and I suppose there's a marked difference between visible corrosion and the clamps no longer fulfilling their purpose.
