Hello, can someone confirm the correct wheel nut sizes for standard PFL wheels?
I've checked the parts list and the front & rear have different part numbers.

I'm asking because today I've taken the rear wheels off and found that 2 different sizes have been randomly fitted to each rear wheel. Does anyone know whether the shorter or longer nuts are for the front or rear?
Once I know and get around to putting them back on, I'll see what's been fitted on the front and hopefully I'll have a correct set of front & rear nuts.

I am sure this was discussed fairly recently.

I hope that someone who can remember who it was will be along shortly!

Front 37mm and rear 42mm for FL at least and they are M12 x 1.5.

Evidently some garages/people are oblivious to the fact that there are different lengths for front and back, hence why you might find them all mixed up.  Rear wheels are wider/deeper so those are longer.

Thanks, my initial guess was that the rear would use longer nuts as the wheels are wider on the rear but I didn't want to make a costly mistake just by guesswork.

I'm glad it wasn't just me who asked this.

It ended up being my "What have you done to your MR2 today" jobs.

Thanks everyone.

I now have the correct nuts on the correct wheels  ;D

It's scary finding this out, it's making me wonder what other horrors I'll find  :o

And now all correctly torqued to 103nm I imagine.
