Now I know why!
Still gonna have genuine hand brake cables when it comes in though.

I rang Toyota for a price on FL cables and it came back over £300, sod that!

Borg & Beck cables were £60 the pair and fit perfectly.

You can imagine the scenario, someone buys a cheap MOT failure, handbrake, for 1k, dosent do his own work, takes its to a main dealer and is presented with the bill to supply and fit

Am I correct in my understanding that the cables differ PFL to FL, at least in length side to side and that the way to check is by comparison with what comes off?

I understand them to be different lengths.
Not sure how best to compare/measure.
But if OEM coming off and OEM going back on. Look for the colour coded tabs. One is yellow the other white.

Pault at TCB always asks FL or PFL as they are different.
Ordered Friday turned up Saturday no complaints with that.
